Great day out canvassing. Hung a bunch of door hangers and met a bunch of folks. Overall a very positive day, no negativity… no doors slammed in my face.
Let me know if you want to door knock with me in your neighborhood.

DEMONSTRATION IN CABOT OVER MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE’S VISIT:
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 7, 2024Â CABOT, AR
A group of concerned citizens gathered to demonstrate against the appearance of Marjorie Taylor Greene at the Cabot Community Center. Her presence in Cabot, and Arkansas as a whole, does not represent the people of Arkansas. Marjorie Taylor Greene and he radical views are too extreme even for Arkansas. I thank the citizens and friends who showed up to support us and make their voices heard.

It is a great honor to announce that the AEA (Arkansas Education Association) has chosen to recommend my campaign for State House District 68 to its members across the state. My support for education and educators in this state is unwavering and it is humbling to have this recognition from the AEA. I look forward to working with them and their members as we fight for the educational rights of all students and the protection of our educators here in Arkansas.
Wonderful ‘popcorn party hosted by Amy and Robert McFarland. Was a good night of talking about the campaign and making contacts. If interested in hosting a small ‘meet the candidate’ party please reach out.
Today we kicked off the ForARKids ballot initiative with a rally at the Arkansas State Capitol steps. It was great to see so many faces ready to Stand UP for Arkansas children and Public Education. Go to www.ForARKids.org to find a place to sign.
What a feeling to go into the voting booth and see my own name on the ballot. Though I was unopposed in my primary, it was still surreal to see my name there. I hope you all join me on this journey
Just received my first major endorsement from the 314 Action Fund. They work to elect STEM based candidates on down-ballot races who are directly driving science-based decisions for their communities — securing local progress on critical issues from climate action to healthcare access and abortion rights.
Eventful day: For AR Kids launched today by submitting its Educational Rights Ammendment 2024 to the AG to be put in front of the voters in Nov. 2024. This is a non-partisan coalition aimed at guarenteeing better educational opportunities and educational transparency in the State constitutions. What an exciting day and I look forward to this effort. Arkansans have shown they are up to the task. STAND UP ARKANSAS.
Great night celebrating the holiday season with the great peoplevat the Arkansas Democratic Black Caucus event. Always great to meet our new candidates and to hang out with Joyce Elliott and Dr. Chris Jones.
What a week it’s been so far, and it ain’t over. Spent Sunday decorating for Christmas at The Ronald McDonald House, Tuesday -lunch with great folks for Habitat For Humanity Gratitude Gathering. Campaign Finance Training on Wednesday; Arkansas Public Policy Panel/Citizens First Congress Gala on Friday night. Oh and we can’t forget Tulane Greenwave Football in The AAC Conference Championship.
Attended FPA Luncheon for National Philanthropy Day as a nominee for Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser. Wonderful lunch with Arkansas Non-profit organizations and honorees. We walked away with the award, couldn’t be more humbled if I tried.
Spent the morning with the great people of the DPLC (Democratic Party of Lonoke County) cleaning up a section of Hwy 31 in Austin. It’s strange to say, but cleaning up trash can be enjoyable, especially when there is coffee and biscuits n gravy to follow.
Had an amazing morning filing for office. Can’t wait to get this campaign for State House District 68 really fired up. Spent the morning filing out paperwork and taking pictures with my wife. Then back to the house and a nice long 2 mile walk with the pup- Judge. More to come…
